Horus Academy has music theory lessons for children, teens, and adults at our West Roxbury and Needham locations. Students can take a deep dive into what makes music work, and become confident to create their own compositions.

How qualified are teachers here?
Our instructors have graduated from prestigious universities, with the majority of our staff being Berklee College of Music alumni.
What are lessons like?
Music theory lessons help students understand how music works, from notes, scales, and chords to rhythm, harmony, and composition. Lessons connect these concepts to real music so students can apply what they learn to performing, writing, and analyzing music.
Where are lessons located?
We have locations in 222 Spring Street, West Roxbury and 220 Reservoir Street, Needham Heights. If you live near these locations or the Greater Boston Area, we have the right lessons for you.
Are there any performance opportunities?
We hold galas in the summer and winter, and we have students perform for guests there. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase what you have learned!
