Peter Tous

President and Founder

Drums, Ukelele, Acoustic Guitar, Music Theory, Piano, and Voice Instructor
I started learning piano at the age of 9, mostly self-taught until high school, when I joined the conservatory. I later attended Berklee College of Music, graduating with the Class of 2024 with piano as my principal instrument, a major in Film Scoring, and a minor in Conducting. I was also blessed to receive a scholarship during my time at Berklee.

I have been teaching music for over 12 years, and I deeply believe in the power of music education. My teaching philosophy is rooted in challenging students with purpose. I push my students to grow, not simply to make lessons difficult, but to give them the opportunity to discover their potential through discipline, confidence, and perseverance.

During my years working at other music schools, I noticed a major gap in private music education. Many schools did not place enough emphasis on the quality of the curriculum teachers were using, whether it was effective, structured, or producing real results. I also saw that financial assistance was often missing, leaving many talented and passionate students without access to quality music education.

That is why I founded Horus Academy.

Horus Academy was created with two main purposes: to bring the highest quality music education to the Boston area and to students online around the world, and to support talented students who may not have the financial resources to pursue music but have the passion and dedication to learn.

At its heart, Horus Academy is about empowerment. We empower students, instructors, team members, and the community around us. Our mission is to create a place where people can grow through music, experience excellence, and feel supported every step of the way.

Anna Dvinchuck

Voice Instructor

Education: Master of Musical Arts in Classical Singing from the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Music, Ukraine.

Genres: Opera and pop singing.

Experience: I have been teaching for 8 years for adults and children.

My Teaching Values:

1. Joy in the process and the infinity of growth

I believe that vocal training is a journey with no final limit to perfection. It is important to me that the learning process brings joy, remains engaging and clear, and inspires students to explore their voices further.

2. Faith in every person’s potential

I am convinced that anyone can learn to sing if they have genuine desire and discipline. My role is to help students believe in their own abilities, even when they doubt themselves.

3. Respect for individuality and emotions

I never impose my choices or views. Instead, I help each student find their own path in music. At the center of my teaching philosophy is sensitivity to both the physiological and emotional experiences of the learner.

4. Growth through awareness

Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. I encourage students not to fear them but to understand their causes. My goal is to teach vocal thinking — to help them analyze and find solutions independently.

5. Scientific foundation and individual approach

I combine knowledge of vocal anatomy with musical hearing and awareness of each student’s emotional state. I choose exercises that feel logical, natural, and accessible for that particular person.

6. Friendly atmosphere and partnership

I don’t lecture — I share experience. My lessons are based on trust, calmness, and creative collaboration, where teacher and student move forward as one team.

7. Building inner strength

I strive to develop not only vocal skills but also personal qualities — purposefulness, persistence, discipline, self-reliance, and awareness of one’s own path.
