How qualified are teachers here?
Our guitar instructors have graduated from prestigious universities, with the majority of our staff being Berklee College of Music alumni.
Do I need to bring my own violin?
We have instruments in our buildings. We also offer renting of instruments if you want to practice on your own time.
What are lessons like?
Violin students begin with correct posture and hold, both for the instrument and the bow, since proper positioning is essential to good tone and technique. We introduce music theory, ear training, and sight reading alongside technique, and students begin applying these skills through simple songs, gradually building repertoire as their skills develop.
What skill level or age do I need to learn the violin?
Our violin lessons are designed for all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are fine tuned to fit your learning goals.
Where are lessons located?
We have locations in 222 Spring Street, West Roxbury and 220 Reservoir Street, Needham Heights. If you live near these locations or the Greater Boston Area, we have the right lessons for you.
Are there any performance opportunities?
We hold galas in the summer and winter, and we have students perform for guests there. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase what you have learned!
