Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Bluegrass, Old-Time Fiddle
Performance Experience
Gabe has performed with the Missoula Symphony, Glacier Symphony, Butte Symphony, and String Orchestra of the Rockies. While classical violin is his primary musical focus, his performance experience also includes musical theatre, pop performances, bluegrass, and old-time fiddle music.
His experience across different musical environments allows him to introduce students to both traditional violin technique and a broader range of musical styles.
Teaching Philosophy
Gabe believes that studying music offers benefits that extend far beyond learning how to play an instrument. Whether a student wants to learn violin for enjoyment, improve their musical skills, or pursue music more seriously, he believes there is a place for every student in music.
His goal as a teacher is to help students develop the same love and connection to music that inspired him growing up.
Gabe also believes that lessons should reflect each student’s individual interests and goals. He is happy to adapt repertoire, musical styles, and lesson approaches to support each student’s learning journey.
